The Perfect Tomato

Perfection. Is it even possible? As the saying goes, the search for Heaven involves a long walk through Hell. Plato believed that the world we live in is actually a dim shadow of the real world. He wasn't the only philosopher to suspect the existence of realms beyond the everyday, but he is the one who became synonymous for it. Hence, perfect love is often called "Platonic Love", which is funny because platonic love is usually associated with love that doesn't involve sex.

The "NEW" Peanut Butter

Was just talking to a friend of mine who noted that the "New" natural brand of peanut butter he had decided to buy had two ingredients: peanuts and salt. Exactly what was "new" about that, he couldn't quite figure out. The "old" peanut butter he used to buy contained over a dozen ingredients, including partially hydrogenated soybean oil (probably from a GMO). Strangest of all was the warning in all caps and bold faced type on the jar of peanut butter: "MAY CONTAIN PEANUTS".

One of my oldest friends, Jeremy Brisiel, is a pioneer in the feild of online entertainment. He is one hell of an interviewer for www.mlb.com.
